People are taken aback by the newspaper announcement last night by Dato Chua Jui Meng, that challenged Dato Seri Dr.Chua Soi Lek,the incumbent BN Chief Co-ordinator on how to win back the Bakri Constituency, with the exposure of the failure to implement the Amulatory Care Centre project, that had been approved in 2003 by the central government with the allocation of RM100 million.The new health centre that been planned will extent numerous benefits to the people all over northern Johor, was promised by BN Bakri during the 11th GE. However, unfortunately, Dato' Chua Jui Meng was sidelined by the MCA leadership and was dropped as Health Minister and replaced by Datuk Seri Dr.Chua Soi Lek after the 11th GE.
This has revealed the ignorance of Dato' Chua Jui Meng regarding responsibility and integrity as a member of Parliament; as though he is not responsible for the mentioned failed to be implemented project, after he was not appointed as Health Minister. As a senior member of Parliament (5 terms),he should monitor and ensure that all approved projects were carried out smoothly, especially in his constituency. Furthermore,as a representative of the ruling government, he had to look after with honesty, the welfare of the people that had been mandated; not to gamble with the hope of the people for his personal political career. As a former Minister, he should be familiar with the duty of a minister, that is, to carry out the best for the people; as a leader who is compassionate for humanity, and has the people at heart. He should correct all forms of inconsistencies that arose, not to shed away and pass on responsibility to others with excuses even without the portfolio of a current serving minister. As a matter of fact, the local citizens were once both dissatisfied and proud of the position of Health Minister, but now the people have realized and are not tolerant of signs of bribery, abuse of power for selfish ends of BN cronies, misguided implementation of government projects and use of racial sentiments for generating capitalist power and BN politicians. Immediately, BN was duly defeated in Bakri Constituency on 8 MARCH 2008. If Dato' Chua Jui Meng still has this defunct attitude and intentionally confuses the mind of the people,he can try his luck in Bakri Constituency with the last legendary test during the 13th GE. The voters will be willing to assess who will deliver hope to the people and country.
The people are not interested in the bickering in MCA between him and Datuk Seri Dr. Chua Soi Lek. His arrogance in not attending the BN meeting in Muar held recently is a shadow play that only members are interested in, who do not understand what is competence, fairness and always are detriment to the hopes of the people. If he feels that there is injustice to him, and always holy in front of god, please expose all project inconsistencies of the Health Department to the public, apologizes and leave BN to be with the people to fight for fairness and bring down the fall of the hypocritcal BN government. Although Dato' Chua Jui Meng was Bakri Member of Parliament for 5 consecutive terms and also held the Health Minister post, do not under estimate the intelligence and sound mind of the people who understand their basic rights. The people know how to assess who the dog is and who takes care of their future. This holy land that is blessed by god with a wide variety of natural resources of wealth is expoited by Umnoputra who are supported by concho-concho and MCA dogs and MIC for their own party's gain and personal benefit, and deprive the citizens of their human rights as the true owners of this land.
Dato' Chua Jui Meng is advised not to be obsessed by personal legend and not to try to ablind the people's eyes with an announcement that is much confused and mistaken. Mature citizens will not be fooled by dirty political ploy. They will only place the hopes of the people and country to leaders are honest,trust-worthy, and concerned for the welfare of the general public. They will neither tolerate nor accept bribery, hypocracy and abuse of power.
The people are ready to sacrifice themselves for a bright prospect, for the coming future generation, as the Malay saying goes, ' Biar putih tulang, Jangan putih mata' .

ReplyDeleteI personally do not against MCA allegation to gain back Bakri as long as they can stand their ground over local residents benefit.
People want to hear what they can do to contribute to the society and not dog fighting within each other.
